About Megan

I’m Megan, an Aberdeen-based jeweller and silversmith working from my studio at Deemouth Artist Studios. I specialise in creating unique, handcrafted jewellery, silverware, and bespoke commissions, combining traditional silversmithing techniques with contemporary design to create pieces that are both beautiful and personal.

Every piece I make is the result of careful craftsmanship, whether it's a stock item from my collections or a bespoke commission. I take pride in creating jewellery that speaks to my clients' individual stories, transforming their ideas into wearable works of art. My bespoke commissions are an opportunity to bring your vision to life—whether you're designing a special engagement ring, remodelling an heirloom piece, or creating something entirely new. The process is highly collaborative, and I guide you through every step, from the first sketch to the final piece.

I also specialise in remodelling existing jewellery, transforming treasured but perhaps outdated or unworn pieces into something new. If you have a family heirloom or an old piece you’d like to reimagine, I’ll work with you to redesign it into something meaningful and modern while maintaining its sentimental value.

In addition to my commissioned work, I offer workshops for those looking to explore the world of jewellery making. These hands-on sessions allow you to learn the basics of silversmithing in a fun, creative environment. Whether you’re interested in creating your own jewellery or simply discovering the craft, my workshops offer a chance to get a taste of the jewellery-making process, guided by my experience and passion for the craft.

My work often explores the relationship between the natural world and the process of creation. Inspired by the textures and forms found in the Scottish landscape, I often incorporate cast rocks into my jewellery and tools, using them as part of the creative process. These materials, combined with my silversmithing techniques, allow me to create pieces that feel organic, timeless, and connected to nature.
